Yes, as long as you live in a PSYPACT state or Massachusetts.

No. Right now all sessions are done remotely, so you can work with your clinician without ever leaving your home.

One of our clinicians will reach out to schedule a free consultation. The consultation is typically done by phone and lasts about 15–30 minutes. This is a chance for the clinician to learn more about your goals and determine a good fit. It is also an opportunity for you to ask questions and decide whether you would like to work with that clinician.
-
If you would like to begin services, our staff will send you a secure link to complete the initial paperwork. During this time, we will also verify your Medicare benefits and let you know about any applicable co-pays or out-of-pocket costs. Once the paperwork and benefits check are complete, your clinician will schedule your first appointment and send you a link for the video session. You may discontinue services at any time.

In most states, only individuals who hold a doctoral degree in psychology may legally use the title “psychologist.” Therapists are typically master’s-level clinicians and may hold degrees in psychology, social work, counseling, or a related field.

This is a common question, and the answer depends on your specific goals. Our clinicians are trained in a range of evidence-based approaches. After getting to know you, your clinician will match proven methods to your objectives while also taking into account your preferences and learning style. Therapy may feel more structured and directive, or more conversational and collaborative. Work may focus primarily on the present or include exploration of the past, depending on what is most helpful for you.

Weekly sessions are typically recommended for the best progress, though some clients prefer every other week, and some may require a variable schedule due to work and other conflicts.
